The U.S. Army honored consultant Kathy Becker for superior performance in support of the family members of the United States Armed Forces in Europe.
Advocate recognition and achievements from the Air Force include a full-time MHNGS advocate at Eglin Air Force Base who received a letter of commendation from the local circuit judge for service excellence.
An MHNGS employee received a letter of commendation from Judge William F. Stone, local circuit court judge, highlighting MHN's dedication and work on behalf of domestic violence victims.
An MHNGS full-time victim advocate at Ft. Carson received the Army Community Services All Star Award for going above and beyond duty to assist domestic violence and sexual assault victims.
San Diego's Domestic Violence Council honored MHNGS employee Karen Norkowski with the 2006 Andrea O'Donnell Award. As a victim advocate for MHNGS, Norkowski works closely with domestic violence victims in the military, helping them navigate through military services and find the best support and assistance available.
The Family Advocacy Program at MCAS Cherry Point requested that MHNGS recognize their MHNGS advocate for contributing to the program, which earned a "with honors" distinction from the Council on Accreditation.
